Bringing Warranty-Backed Credit On-Chain with cSigma Atlas: Connecting Institutional Finance with Global Stablecoin Capital

A new capital markets platform powered by cSigma Atlas connects warranty cash flow-backed financing with institutional lenders and stablecoin capital worldwide.

Blockchain technology is creating new opportunities to enhance transparency, improve asset-level visibility, and expand access to capital in structured finance. A newly launched blockchain-native capital markets platform for one of the largest direct-to-consumer warranty service providers in the United States aims to bring these benefits to the multi-billion-dollar warranty-backed credit market.

The platform brings warranty contracts, asset-backed loans, lenders, and investors together through a unified blockchain infrastructure. It provides daily visibility into collateral, credit performance, repayments, and reserves, helping capital providers monitor the assets supporting their investments.

From Warranty Contracts to On-Chain Assets

The platform initially tokenized about $200 million in asset-backed credit, of which approximately half of the capital was repaid. It aims to tokenize approximately $500 million in credit assets over the next 18–24 months.

Each warranty contract originated and connected to the platform is represented in a shared digital ledger, creating a persistent record of the underlying asset and associated credit throughout its lifecycle.

Collateral values and asset details are refreshed daily, giving lenders, investors, and authorized partners a near-real-time view of the assets supporting their investments.

This approach is designed to improve transparency across the credit lifecycle and provide capital providers with more consistent access to information about their underlying exposures.

Connecting Traditional and Stablecoin Capital

The capital markets platform supports both traditional debt financing and stablecoin capital across multiple blockchain networks through a unified ledger and capital management interface.

Qualified stablecoin investors can participate in eligible warranty-backed credit pools alongside traditional lenders. This creates a potential connection between established credit assets and global digital-dollar liquidity.

Building a More Connected Capital Markets Ecosystem with Blockchain

Beyond tokenization, the broader opportunity lies in bringing warranty producers, administrators, lenders, and investors together within a common financial infrastructure.

By linking underlying assets, credit performance, and cash flows through a shared digital environment, the platform seeks to support a more transparent and efficient market for warranty-backed credit.

For institutional capital providers, this model offers a framework for improved asset-level visibility and more direct monitoring of credit portfolios. For eligible digital-asset investors, it opens another potential channel for participating in real-world credit markets.

Key Business Benefits

The fully branded, self-managed capital markets platform is designed to distribute the enterprise’s credit assets to global capital providers, reduce operational costs by more than 75%, and accelerate capital turnover. Built to scale across a broad network of funding sources, the platform is expected to lower the cost of capital by up to 15% for the Asset Originator while improving risk-adjusted yield to investors. In subsequent phases, the platform is expected to introduce dynamic auctions for yield-generating assets, secondary trading of investor positions, and collateral rehypothecation to further enhance liquidity and capital efficiency.

About the Technology

The platform is powered by cSigma Atlas, a blockchain-native capital markets infrastructure that enables the tokenization, distribution, and management of real-world financial assets through a unified interface that connects enterprises and financial institutions to both global stablecoin liquidity and traditional sources of capital.
